Valencia Lakes Vets Helping Vets
Veterans helping veterans, one neighbor at a time.
The mission of Vets Helping Vets is to provide free basic home repair assistance to fellow Valencia Lakes veterans. Materials will be purchased by the recipient, and there will be no monetary exchange between participants and Vets Helping Vets.
Veterans requesting assistance should use the volunteer list below to contact a volunteer directly.
Veterans interested in volunteering are encouraged to provide their name and contact information to ">johnvdk1@verizon.net.
Volunteer services may include basic home repairs and assistance such as:
- Replacing faucets
- Installing switches
- Changing light bulbs
- Replacing light fixtures
- Installing locksets
- Other similar minor household repairs
No volunteer will perform roof or attic work. If a volunteer determines that a project should be handled by a licensed contractor or service provider, the resident will be advised accordingly. For additional information, please contact John VanderKam.
